Slow is
a craft.

No streaks. No badges. Just the page, the morning, and the quiet of writing into it.

Three pages, longhand-style. We hide the word count so you can stop counting.

Soft cadence

Three days a week is enough. Skip without guilt — your seasons stay intact.

warm
Is there a free plan?
Yes — Quiet gives you a whole season, no card. We only ask if you want the year-round notebook.
Where are my entries stored?
Encrypted at rest in Frankfurt. You can export to a single zip any time, no questions asked.
Do you train models on my writing?
No. We don't train on member entries. Ever. It's the whole point.
Can I import from another journal app?
Day One, Bear, Notion, plain markdown — yes. We honour timestamps.
What if I cancel?
You keep reading forever. Writing pauses at the season boundary. Resume any time.
Is there an app?
Soon. We're building iOS first, with a writing-only mode that hides everything else.
DARK
$ how is pricing metered?
Per million input + output tokens. Cached prompts are billed at 0.1× — see /docs/billing.
$ does failover lose context?
No. Session state is replicated across at least 2 regions. RPO ≤ 50ms in Pro+.
$ what models are supported?
aurora-3.1-fast, aurora-3.1-deep, plus BYO weights via /upload.
$ SLA?
99.95% on Pro, 99.99% on Scale. Credits at /status.aurora.dev.
$ how does key rotation work?
Issue new keys without downtime, set grace window per route, revoke instantly.
$ is SOC 2 done?
Type II since Feb 2026. Available under NDA from /trust.
